Work
Work should leave evidence behind.
These records show how I approach ambiguous systems problems, what I built or changed, and what became more reliable as a result. Sensitive organizational and participant information is removed; the method remains visible.
Operational data systems
Challenge: Important reporting depended on inconsistent records, manual preparation, and operational knowledge held by too few people.
Response: I administered the underlying data systems, strengthened validation and governance, automated recurring preparation, and translated real program workflows into reporting structures teams could use without an analyst standing beside them.
Impact: The work became more repeatable, easier to audit, and less vulnerable to staff transitions or undocumented decisions.
Making an employment pipeline measurable
Translated a multi-partner employment process into trackable milestones, readiness checks, placement outcomes, and retention follow-up—giving program staff a shared operational picture instead of disconnected records.
Removing repetition from financial data preparation
Developed a dictionary-driven process to classify recurring general-ledger activity and produce import-ready records. The value was not merely speed: the logic became visible, reviewable, and maintainable.
Restoring visibility when the platform interface failed
Designed a lightweight operations console with key indicators, searchable tables, and status views when a native administrative bulletin became unreliable. The replacement prioritized continuity and fast comprehension.
Turning AI enthusiasm into an adoption baseline
Designed and analyzed an internal readiness assessment covering use patterns, time savings, trust, privacy concerns, and preferred training formats—creating evidence for policy and support decisions.
Wilmington Meshtastic Network
This project moves beyond owning LoRa hardware into maintaining a small communications system: selecting and configuring nodes, evaluating antennas, observing coverage, diagnosing failures, and recording what a community deployment actually demands.
Devious Designs Applied Technology Lab
The lab is where curiosity becomes a reproducible practice. It records the full arc from question to setup to observation—including failures—across Raspberry Pi systems, SDR, Meshtastic, antennas, embedded devices, radio, repairs, and prototypes.
